At 8:35 AM, pick up from the hotel for the City Tour, visit the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun “Qoricancha”, the most important religious site of the Inca period, then visit the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park of imposing because of the huge stones (over 80 tons in weight), then continue to Q'enqo, have a panoramic view of Pucapucara and finally Tambomachay.
The Lares Valley is one of the most picturesque in the southern part of Cusco, home of many traditional weavers and farmers. The people live day to day, growing and knitting what they eat and wear. Each day is reasonably paced with ample time to enjoy the incredible scenery, to walk is hard but this is incredibly compensated with the landscape, lunch alongside cascading waterfalls.
AM: After breakfast transfer from the hotel to Lima airport in order to take the plane to Cusco, the flight takes 1 hour and 20 minutes

PM: pick up from the hotel for the City Tour, visit the Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun “Qoricancha”, the most important religious site of the Inca period.
At 6:00 a.m., we pick the group up from the different hotels. Depart from Cusco and travel to Urubamba, stopping briefly at Ollaytaytambo, where you could buy last minute gear and personal items. Then we move in to Piskacuchu (Km 82) the begging point of the Inca Trail . We will have lunch in Miskay and relax a bit before hiking to our first campsite.
Choquequirao sits in the saddle of a high Andean ridge, 3000m./10,000 ft. above sea level and 1,500m./5,000 ft. above the roaring waters of the Apurimac River. Ringed by spectacular snow-capped peaks and flanked by plunging, thickly forested slopes, the city is an inspiring example of an elite Inca ceremonial center.
The second day we'll ascent to the highest point of our trek, Salkantay Pass 4600 meters from this point we can appreciate the special views of the Mountain Salkantay, a stunning snow capped mountain (6271 meters), 3 hours walking with spectacular views of the mountains Humantay and Huayanay, small lakes and morraines arriving to our lunch site.
