HUCHUYQOSQO – MACHUPICCU 3 DAYS/ 2 NIGHTS

HUCHUYQOSQO ITINERARY
DAY 1: CUSCO – CHINCHERO - HUCHUYQOSQO

QOSQOEarly morning we will pick up from hotel, we will pass along Cachimayo until Chinchero, where we will visit the church, typical market and the archeological site, then we’ll continue our journey  to Tauqaq, village located in the border of Piuray Lagoon, here the group will begging the trek. After a short briefing about the route will walk for 3 hours until Tauqaq Pass (4,000 meters), from there we will see a mountain range to the south of Ausangate,
Veronika, Pitusiray and Sahuasiray snowy peaks. Then we’ll descent to our campsite (located some minutes before to Huchuyqosqo)

DAY 2: HUCHUYQOSQO - LAMAY- OLLANTAYTAMBO –MACHU PICCHU

HUCHUY QOSQOAfter breakfast we will visit the Huchuyqosqo Complex, that is an imposing architecture that includes a large open ceremonial center, from which we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley, the Vilcanota River, and the snow capped mountain range of the same name. After the guided tour we will continue our way to Lamay at 3000 meters. In this point we take our private bus to Ollantaytambo where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes,
where we will spend the night in a nice hotel.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

UCHUY QOSQO MACHUPICCHUEarly in the morning the group will take the fist bus to Machupicchu, arriving there after 25 minutes. In this place the group will have a guided tour for 2 hours and then free time to enjoy by your selves the Citadel.
Around 1:00 pm we’ll take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where we'll have time for lunch and then take the train to comeback to Cusco, then transfer from the train station to the hotel

It was a perfect tour. I enjoyed every moment , It was carefully organized. Our guide was very attentive  and experienced, the English level  was excellent  and it was a welcoming and kind host ship. We had information about local culture, plants what made tour incredible and unforgettable.
