TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 A. - INCA TRAIL

With the good concept to preserve our Inca Trail, the government offers a limit of places per day, 500 (including porters, guides and tourists). The popularity of this trek force to the agencies get permits several months in advance, for it we strongly recommend to book your places at least 3 months in advance.
Please note that as soon as you booked your trek, we got the permits and after it there is no way to change, dates or names

  1. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking.  CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR will use this deposit to buy entrance fees, get your Inca Trail permit and secure your places
  2. THE BALANCE HAVE TO BE PAID IN OUR OFFICE UNTIL TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE WITH TRAVELERS CHECKS, USD CASH OR PERUVIAN CURRENCY

1. – CANCELATION BY CLIENTS (INCA TRAIL)

    1. In case of trek cancellation until 20 days prior to the trek departure the deposit is non refundable and we must receive a written notification of your decision to cancel a trip.
    2. Trek cancellation  between 19 days and 1 days prior to  trek departure (before or  after having paid the balance), any money will be refunded, we only can give
      -  Entrance ticket to visit Machupicchu
    3. In case you have started the Inca Trail (after having paid the trek in full), any money will be refunded, we only can give:
  •  Train ticket to come back from Aguas Calientes to Cusco
  • Entrance ticket to visit Machupicchu

2. – CANCELATION BY CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR

In case CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR had to cancel your Inca Trail booking due to a forced situation outside of the company’s manage (example: climatic disasters , strikes and others):

  1. We will notify you by e-mail.
  2. We will give you other trekking option with the same amount of days
  3. In case we won’t be able to offer you other alternative trek. then we will refund only the proportion of the cost of the trek that has not already been spent or committed to operating the trek (Example: entrance fees, train tickets, guide and others) 

B. - OTHER TREKS AND EXPEDITIONS

  1. For these treks we also required a non-refundable deposit of 40% to secure your places
  2. THE BALANCE HAVE TO BE PAID IN OUR OFFICE UNTIL TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE WITH TRAVELERS CHECK, USD CASH OR PERUVIAN CURRENCY

1. - CANCELATION BY CLIENTS (ALTERNATIVE TREKS AND EXPEDITIONS)

    1. Trek cancelation after having paid the deposit, it is non refundable and we must receive a written notification of your decision to cancel a trip
    2. Trek cancelation between 3 days and the night before to the departure date ( after having paid the trek in full) we will apply 90% penalty and reimburse you the 10% of the total payment in our office,  by western union or wire transfer (deducting the wire taxes)
    3. Trek cancellation when you have started it: We won’t give any reimburse

2. – CANCELATION BY CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR

In case CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR had to cancel your Inca Trail due to a forced situation outside of the company’s manage (example: climatic disasters, strikes and others):

  1. We will notify you by e-mail.
  2. We will give you other trekking option with the same amount of days
  3. In case we won’t be able to offer you other alternative trek, then we will refund only the proportion of the cost of the trek that has not already been spent or committed to operating the trek (Example: entrance fees, train tickets, guide and others) 

C. – PACKAGES

  1. We require a NON REFUNDABLE 50% deposit to secure permits, hotel and plane tickets bookings
  2. THE BALANCE HAVE TO BE PAID IN OUR OFFICE WITH TRAVELERS CHECK, USD CASH OR PERUVIAN CURRENCY

1. - CANCELATION BY CLIENTS (PACKAGES)

  •  In case of cancelations after having paid the 50% deposit, it is non refundable
  • In case of last moment cancellation after having paid it in full, it is non refundable

2. – CANCELATION BY CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR

In case CUSCO TREKS TOUR OPERATOR had to cancel your Inca Trail due to a forced situation outside of the company’s manage (example: climatic disasters, strikes and others):

  1. We will notify you by e-mail.
  2. We will give you other option with the same amount of days
  3. In case we won’t be able to offer you other alternative option, then we will refund only the proportion of the cost of the trek that has not already been spent or committed to operating the trek (Example: entrance fees, train tickets, guide and others) 

 
D. - TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Client must be in possession of a valid passport and all visas required for the whole of the journey and the client accepts responsibility for obtaining the same. Any information or advice given by the company on visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, baggage, special equipment, etc is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of the company.

Note:

f for any reason you will get a new passport number (after you have made your booking), you have to let us know. Passport numbers are really important to get into the trail (government regulations)

Jamil was very friendly, his help on the trek was invaluable as we were rather slow, he encouraged all the way, his knowledge was great specially with flora. It was a perfect tour. I enjoyed every moment , It was carefully organized. Our guide was very attentive  and experienced, the English level  was excellent  and it was a welcoming and kind host ship. We had information about local culture, plants what made tour incredible and unforgettable.
I liked food, it was sophisticated, tasteful, meal times were joyful and delicate.
